Hi Reader,

For years, I've been obsessed with figuring out how to help others (and myself) get UNstuck while trying to achieve goals, whether they are personal or professional.

There are several reasons why so many fall short of their dreams and end up living "lives of quiet desperation" as Henry David Thoreau noted.

Yet, three essential issues are always at the core:
1) Lack of self-belief, which manifests as procrastination or over-compensating.
2) No clear, measurable plan.
3) No support, encouragement, or feedback.

I've created many programs, over 60 of them actually, that all contain pieces of the solution. But a couple of months ago, I began connecting those pieces of the 'success puzzle' together.

Thus far, I have the first of four PATHS charted in an upcoming membership site. This path is designed to help you 10X Self-Confidence because if you don't believe in yourself, or you can't get yourself to take consistent action, the best plan and support won't matter.

The other PATHS revolve around building financial freedom, growing a business, and improving your health and energy.

In addition to providing step-by-step plans/paths, those who participate with me will also meet monthly (and eventually more) so I can provide the feedback and support to keep you charging forward and prevent getting stuck.

It's the accumulation of 36 years of study and research into human behavior and peak performance and I plan on rolling it out in October.

The Commitment Trap: Why We Fall Short on Promises to Ourselves

You can have almost anything in life, IF you're willing to do whatever it takes to get it.

The brutal truth: most people give up too easily.

They see problems as stop signs instead of stepping stones. Yet, here's the AH-HA moment: the very challenges keeping you stuck are the keys to unlocking your success!

When you hit a wall, the solution is not to quit. It’s to figure out how to climb it, walk around it, or even knock it down. That’s where the transformation happens. Solving that problem becomes the next step in the path.

3 Reasons People Fall Short on Their Commitments

  1. They choose comfort over commitment. When things get hard, they retreat instead of pushing through.
  2. They expect guarantees. They want success upfront before they are willing to put in the effort (and secretly hope others will create the success for them, which even if that happened, it's not sustainable.)
  3. They mistake obstacles for dead ends. They stop when the truth is that each problem is a puzzle waiting to be solved.

📖 The Book That Almost Wasn’t

One of my clients was writing a book. She got halfway through and hit a wall. After struggling with writer's block, I challenged her to take a step back, view the challenge as an opportunity, and to ask a Power Question: What do I really want to say here?

That problem caused her to recognize that she was writing what she believed her audience wanted to hear rather than staying true to herself and writing in her own voice, which was what actually drew readers to her.

👉 The lesson: That shift unlocked the next chapter, and soon the words poured out. The breakthrough wasn’t just finishing. It was realizing that resistance meant she needed a new perspective and the breakthrough was writing in her own authentic voice, which she carried forward through the completion of her manuscript.

📈 A Business Roadblock

Another client ran a coaching business and struggled to attract new clients. He thought his ads were the problem, but after we dug into the advertising campaign, we realized the real issue was that his message was too broad. Nobody knew exactly who he helped or what problem he solved.

The “stuck point” became his breakthrough. He narrowed his focus, spoke directly to high-achieving HR executives, and suddenly his ads worked because his audience identified with the tailored messaging.

👉 The lesson: when business feels stuck, the obstacle is often showing you exactly what needs to change, and you just need to ask a new question or get help seeing the opportunity.

Bottom line? You don’t need perfection or guarantees. You need to keep moving forward when it gets hard. Each problem you solve makes you stronger, more confident, and more prepared for the success that's waiting on the other side.
