Can you really 'manifest' success?

Hi Reader,

I hope you are having smooth, productive days...

I've been on a podcast tour promoting my One Belief Away and Faithfull books.

One of the questions I'm often asked is, "Does visualization or using manifestation techniques increase the odds of success?

Visualization can be helpful… but it’s not a strategy.

I’ve watched people spend years “getting aligned,” journaling, using affirmations, creating vision boards, and trying to manifest their professional goals, while quietly avoiding the only activities the market responds to:

Belief -> Execution -> Skill -> Reps -> Feedback -> Adjustment -> Repeat ->

Here’s the brutal truth:

Success isn’t something you attract.
It’s something you build.

And the reason a lot of smart, capable people don’t build it isn’t because they don’t know what to do.

It’s because something underneath their mindset keeps hitting the brakes.

Here’s what real progress looks like:

1) Define the target
Get clear on what you’re actually aiming at.

2) Take massive, enjoyable action
Your confidence doesn’t come from affirmations. It comes from evidence created by reps (repetition), and the more you enjoy what you do, the less friction will be felt.

3) Pressure-test reality
If you want momentum, stop asking “How do I stay positive?” and start asking:

  • What breaks first?
  • Where am I exposed?
  • What do I need to learn next?
  • Which action will move the needle quickest?
Because clarity is forged, not wished for.

4) Skill stack like it’s your job

The market rewards capability, not intention.
When you build leverage skills (communication, sales, influence, decision-making) your opportunities expand. And when opportunities appear, you'll be prepared to meet them.

5) Protect consistency with a supportive environment
If your environment trains distraction, your results will match.
Upgrade the room and the inputs, or you’ll keep losing focus.

Stop checking email, put your phone in another room, set boundaries with co-workers, employees, or family members if you work from home.

Now, here’s the nuance I want to add because it matters:

The Secret movie brought the Law of Attraction to the general public. The film's experts would all agree that visualizing success is designed to define the goal (set the target) and build belief in one's ability to hit it. Then, your brain begins providing the steps to attain this goal.

They would also agree that a sequel titled The Secret 2 — Take Massive Action is needed.

Because this is where you gain feedback, clarity, skill, strategic support, market match, wisdom, and reward.

If you are feeling stuck with any of these steps, it's likely NOT a mindset issue.

“Mindset” is how we consciously talk to ourselves.

Unconscious beliefs are the internal rules running in the Mental Operating System of your brain underneath the mindset. Those beliefs determine whether you talk yourself into or out of taking action.

Most make the mistake of trying to continually improve their mindset, but that's like filling a barrel that has a hole in the bottom with more water. No matter how much you pour into that barrel, the water keeps running out. You've got to patch that hole!

This is what Mind Architecture does. It upgrades the internal code in your brain's OS (operating system.) We all download some form of 'mental malware' into our computer brain's in childhood. Removing that malware, increasing self-love, and installing beliefs that instantly produce peak performance behavior is the fastest way to execute with peace, instead of pressure.

If this is not done, your internal rules will continue to override one's good intentions.

Upgrade your beliefs and apply the strategies above and success will become inevitable.

Reply and tell me what INSIGHT or “aha” landed for you.

Hi Reader, Yesterday I wrote about something I’ve had to remind myself of lately: Building isn’t selling. In a market like this, that distinction matters because when sales slow down, most people assume they have a lead generation problem. But that's often not the case. Instead, it's a sales rhythm constraint. Meaning, the activities that create revenue are not happening consistently enough. Here are 5 signs that reveal if this is true for you: 1. You know you should be reaching out more to...

Hi Reader, This message won’t be for everyone on my list. But if your income depends on creating sales conversations, this may be worth paying attention to. We are in a challenging market right now. People are more cautious. Buying decisions are taking longer. Prospects are distracted. Budgets are being watched more closely. And a lot of good people are working harder than ever and the ROI is not matching the effort. When that happens, the natural instinct is to create something new. A new...

Hi Reader, Many are feeling the squeeze right now. Business is slower. Budgets have been cut. Costs are higher than expected. Consumers are more cautious. Sales cycles feel longer. And even the strong-willed are having moments of panic. The economy has felt strained for a lot of people, and when that happens, the natural instinct is to push harder. More effort.More hours.More content, offers, and pressure. But in my experience, the people who create breakthroughs in moments like this usually...
