So whether January feels slow, chaotic, or personal, the real problem is usually the same. We rely on discipline and willpower, which is basically like saying, “I’m going to manually force my brain to cooperate today.”

That works until pressure fatigue, uncertainty, a mood, or your past patterns show up, tapping you on the shoulder like, “Miss me?”

Here’s the hard truth: When you’re relying on discipline, it means your brain isn’t fully on board yet and that creates drag. Here's how DRAG shows up:

“If I fully go for what I want this year, I’m afraid that ____.”

Whatever you wrote isn’t “the truth.” It’s the rule your brain is using to decide what’s safe and the rules create the results.
